Efpnea {εύπνοια} is a Greek word meaning "to breathe easily [pleasantly] / without difficulty".

The aim of this project was to have a line of illustrations (with light motion) for candles and incense sticks that tell a tale of tranquillity; first visually through the characters - and the environment in which they exist - and eventually tell an olfactory story, once the products are opened and used.

The character illustrations were inspired by fairy tales and were designed to represent the dreamy and serene environment that can be created by the smell of a beautiful fragrance, bringing a sense of peace to mind.

The colour palettes chosen were limited and raw, specific to the natural colours of the flowers and herbs that are taken from the habitat from which they originate - with some complementary tones as well.
